Founded in the late 1990s, DC Ranch is a picturesque community located at the base of the McDowell Mountains. DC Ranch is actually home to four separate villages: Market Street, Country Club, Desert Camp and Desert Parks Village. These villages feature a variety of home types, including patio homes, town homes, condominiums, and single family homes.
For example, Tapadero Villas, within Country Club Village, offers townhomes which range in size from 2,600 to 3,000 square feet. Camelot Homes offers tri-plex villas, single-family 2-3 bedroom homes, ranging in size from 2,062 to 2,600 square feet, in a gated subdivision within walking distance to nearby Market Street. Country Club Village is guard-gated and includes access to the Tom Lehman and John Fought Golf Courses in DC Ranch. These homes have five different floor plans and range in size from 2,300 to 4,000 square feet.
HOA: There are three different monthly Homeowner’s Association fees in DC Ranch which fall into three categories: Community Council, the Ranch Association as well as Neighborhood fees (where applicable). These fees fund the operation and maintenance of the community centers and amenities, as well as common area maintenance. Some neighborhood fees also cover security features, depending on the neighborhood.
DC Ranch is known for its resort-style amenities, including two community centers: the Homestead and Desert Camp. The Homestead offers an adventure playground and basketball courts, as well as a splash pad and a community theatre. Desert Camp also offers an adventure playground, a pool, a fitness room, as well as basketball and tennis courts. There are 33 miles of paths and trails throughout DC Ranch, perfect for outdoor and fitness enthusiasts. Nearby McDowell Mountain Regional Park also offers over 40-miles of hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails.
Shopping: Nearby shopping includes DC Ranch Marketplace, Market Street, Canyon Ranch, as well as the Scottsdale Quarter and Kierland Commons. DC Ranch is approximately 25 miles away from Sky Harbor International Airport.
Schools: The Scottsdale School District serves family-friendly DC Ranch. Copper Ridge Elementary, Copper Ridge Middle School and Chaparral High School service this community, with Copper Ridge located less than a mile away. Also nearby is Notre Dame Preparatory High School, a private high school.
